- My father was not a good man--in the third grade, I would tell ppl he died when his car ran into a phone pole because I was sick of explaining everything.

- I had a brother, Kristopher, who was kidnapped from the schoolyard. I was there and tried to get him back, but I was too little to stop it.
- My brother taught me how to ride a bike.
- I have a little sister, Amanda, who is gorgeous, smart, and has always known what she wanted to do w/her life.

- I was a fiercely independant daddy's girl--I still am.
- In HS, I counselled upperclassmen in what they wanted to do after graduation--if they chose it, I would help get them into their schools of choice and help them get the funds they needed.

- I found 1984 to be hopeful--heh, it could just be propoganda, y'know...

- I used to want to be the first woman President; but then I realized there are more powerful positions--like schoolmasters; then I wanted (and still want) to build a school for kids like me.

- I was in "HS" for a year and a half. Half of Freshman year I went to a Jr.HS in another state. I skipped my Junior year. I spent my Senior year at college.
- My mother would never let me skip grades--she said it was important for me to "be with my peers," even though my peers were always at least two years older than me.
- My counselors wanted me to test out of school when I was fifteen--I stayed so I would be old enough to get into the uni I'm at, now, the only uni I applied to.
- I've won lots of awards for academics and sports.

- I have studied, to varying degrees of mastery, more than a dozen languages.

- Life is worthless and it annoys me when ppl pretend it is worth everything in the universe; what is of value is what you do with your life--life is a converstion factor.

- I believe that ppl are generally good, but no one is entirely altruistic--it all comes down to the individual. (I know that's an American/Western perspective; Oriental philosophies generaly focus on the group.)
- Anne Frank was selfish and naive--spoiled, even.

- I used to do theatre--makeup and set design.
- I have been a politician.
- I have enacted change and made "the masses" that I served more participatory (voter turnout of the sector I was active in more than tripled during my term). My office (although I forget my title) served as a liason btwn students and administration at my college.
- I'm studying to convert to Orthodox Judaism.
- I used to donate blood components three times a week until I got the Hepatitis A vaccine (that I had previously been told I could still donate w/) and was forever after ineligible.
- Computers are very cool and the Internet makes me drool.
- Purple is my favorite color.
- I remember when the [Berlin] Wall fell. It was one of the best days of my young life.
- My hair has been purple, on purpose.
- There have been times, that I have known more about a subject than my instructors to such a degree that they have asked me to give the lecture.

- I once had a seizure because my blood-sugar was so low.
- I'm joining the Peace Corps.
- I have suffered nearly constant headaches since I was eight years old; even after inked MRI, there has been no determined cause other than "stress."
- I'm not that stressed of a person--even though I've always had a lot of stressors.
- I disowned my grandparents, but now maintain a correspondence with them.
- I have lived in seven metropoli--but never lived outside the United States.
- I prefer international notation, but use American notation for some things because Americans wouldn't understand them, otherwise--and I do live in America.
- I think ppl who live in America should be able and willing to conduct business/government/education in English, and that English should be the only official language.
- I think everyone should be conversational in at least two languages.
- Learning never ends.
- Death is just the beginning.
- One day, I was in the college cafeteria after some classes (during a semeter that I was taking three foreign languages and two English courses) talking with some friends and the girl in front of me turned around and asked what country I was from because I had the most interesting accent. I was thoroughly entertained!
- I remember a breeze that carried on it the most fascinatingly lonely and inspiring sensation.
- Life is difficult and demanding (at least life well-lived), if ppl decide they're really not up for it, they go w/my every sympathy, and the emphatic hope that next time will be better for them.**
- I missed my pets more than my family when I left for uni.
